If you have a German car from the 2010s, you may have experienced a scratched infotainment or instrument cluster screen. Early anti-glare coatings were not very durable. Even though these were not touch-screens, they tended to get scratched very easily just through routine cleaning. We even covered this in detail in a post from 2017 which you can find here. The right way to make this repair is to remove the trim and screen if you can, but this owner wanted to see how much we could improve it in place.
So we taped off the screen as best we could and used Ammo polish on a soft DA pad using the Rupes Nano polisher with circular motion. The results were pretty astounding. It took some extra time to get up into the corners by hand, but it worked out really well. To finish it off, I would apply a matte clear screen protector, but the owner was happy as it was.
